Ordering InfoTrack Searches via the Konekta Plugin

he Konekta integration with InfoTrack is also connected with Konekta Conveyancing add-on to allow you to order a range of services from InfoTrack.

Key Features

  • Pre-Populates data from the Konekta Conveyancing matter in Actionstep to InfoTrack
  • Returns the Search result as a PDF to a dedicated SEARCHES folder within that matter.  **Note: If there is no SEARCHES folder in the matter, documents will be saved at the top of "Matter Documents" for the matter.
  • Populates a order history in the matter so you can track EVERY update on the search progress made by InfoTrack
  • Returns the InfoTrack order as a Disbursement to the matter when completed by InfoTrack. Also if the RETAILER FEE and the SUPPLIER both attract GST then the disbursement will be returned as a single charges to your bill rather than two separate charges. If the GST for both fees is different you will continue to receive two separate Disbursement charges.

What's the differences between this method and using the existing Actionstep InfoTrack Integration

Both Integrations will basically do the same thing, order a search, return the results and add the disbursement. The major benefit of using the Konekta integration is the 'PRE-FILL' of your transaction details to InfoTrack, landing on the correct page within InfoTrack and also consolidating the disbursement charge as single line disbursement, thus making your ordering process quickly and more accurate, not to mention tidier for your clients bill with single line disbursements.

How to order InfoTrack searches

Step 1 - Click on the Konekta Plugin from within your matter to open the Konekta launch page

From the Konekta launch page under the InfoTrack menu select on the required search (note the State will dynamically change based on the state of the Property Address Contact)

Step 2 - For Each User (on their first use only) - will need to authenticate with your Actionstep UserName and Password. This allows us to return the search results back to the matter within Actionstep.  

Click the  'Login with ACTIONSTEP' button to complete the connection

Note: At any time you can revoke the connection from within your 'MY PROFILE' within Actionstep. 

Step 4 - Place your order with InfoTrack

You will now be directed to the InfoTrack order screen. 

InfoTrack will now open onto the relevant search page where details from your matter will be automatically pre-populated.  All you will need to do is check that the details are correct and click the order button

Step 5 - View your order

Your order will be located  as a PDF in the SEARCHES folder and the disbursement will be add to the matter.

Please be aware that for some products (e.g. Property Enquiry), you may be directed to the InfoTrack landing page instead of straight in to the Property Enquiry page.  This will occur if there is no Property Address on the matter. This is because the system cannot figure out which Property Enquiry page to send you to as they are a little different for each of the states and territories in Australia.
