Rent and Licence Fee adjustments have slightly different calculations behind them.
They have been created for the main purpose of charging rent to the other party so therefore will calculate the exact number of days/weeks/months for period selected.
For example using your dates 1 May to 31 May:
Daily – will calculate based on the number of days between the To and From dates (975 * 31 days)
Weekly – will calculate the number of weeks between the To and From Dates (975 * 4 weeks)
Monthly – will calculate the number of months between the to and from dates (975 * 1 month)
In your case we note that you are wanting to adjust only for the 14 days between the day of settlement and the end of the month. Therefore, the window should have been completed as follows using the date from settlement to the end of the billing period and to adjust daily:

Having the adjustment period as monthly when using the Rent specific adjustment option would calculate it as a whole month.
