Setup a dedicated number for your SMS's

If you choose not to set up a dedicated number for your SMS's our platform will automatically select a Mobile number to send the SMS's from. This Mobile number is shared across many clients, which could include your competitors.


We highly recommend you choose to purchase a dedicated number for your business from which all messages will be sent. You can also choose to use Alpha-Numeric characters as the FROM name however this will result in no replies being possible with this method. 



What if someone calls that Mobile number?

A standard virtual mobile number cannot be called. If somebody attempts to call your number, they will get a disconnected message. These numbers are for receiving messages only.


To set this up please follow these instructions


1. To setup a dedicated virtual mobile number, click on the NUMBERS link in the top menu and then click on the ADD NUMBER

NB: Virtual mobile numbers are only available in some countries and costs vary depending on your region. Please review the global delivery list for availability  and your account for pricing.

2. Choose a number from the drop down list of available numbers. The cost of the virtual mobile number per month will be displayed.

3. Enable the Credit Card Auto-recharge option by selecting a top up amount.

4. Click on ACTIVATE.

5. Add this number to your Email Template in Actionstep in the FROM Section.
